Fatal Freedom Desktop

This desktop, designed by Tristano Ajmone, is inspired on Thomas Szasz’s book Fatal Freedom.

It depicts a shaving blade dripping blood, with the words FATAL FREEDOM printed on it. On the top lef corner is a (truncated) quote from Szasz’s book:

“Dying voluntarily is a choice intrinsic to human existence. It is our ultimate, fatal freedom ... relying on physicians to prevent suicide, prescribe suicide, and provide suicide ... is an evasion fatal to freedom.”
